Built for O-1

Everything an O-1 case demands, in one workflow.

The O-1 lives or dies on evidence. Lexfill helps your client produce it — and helps your team turn it into a petition that reads clearly against the criteria.

Criteria mapping

Every exhibit mapped to the criteria USCIS grades.

As evidence comes in, Lexfill sorts it against the eight O-1A criteria and shows you where the petition is strong and where it's thin — before you start drafting, not after an RFE.

  • Live coverage across all eight criteria
  • See gaps while there's still time to fill them
  • Works for O-1A and O-1B artistic standards

Evidence intelligence

Turn a folder of PDFs into a labeled exhibit list.

Your client uploads awards, press, contracts, and reference letters. Lexfill reads each one, names it, tags what criterion it supports, and stacks it into an ordered exhibit list — so the record assembles itself.

  • Auto-named, auto-lettered exhibits
  • Key facts and dates pulled from each document
  • You confirm the tagging before anything is saved

Guided intake

Your client tells their story; you get a structured record.

A calm, guided intake tuned for extraordinary-ability cases walks the beneficiary through their achievements one question at a time — no blank forms, no legalese — and hands you an organized narrative to build the petition on.

  • Questions tailored to the O-1 criteria
  • Runs in the beneficiary's own language

Review flags

A second pair of eyes before it goes out the door.

Lexfill reads the intake and the exhibits together and flags what doesn't line up — employment dates that conflict with the contract, a validity window that runs past the itinerary — in plain English, so nothing surprises you at filing.

  • Cross-checks dates across documents
  • Explained in a sentence, not a score

O-1 questions

O-1 filing, answered.

What is the O-1 visa?

The O-1 is a nonimmigrant classification for individuals with extraordinary ability in the sciences, education, business, or athletics (O-1A), or extraordinary achievement in the arts, film, or television (O-1B). It's petition-based and evidence-heavy — the case is won on documentation.

What evidence does an O-1 petition require?

O-1A petitions satisfy at least three of eight regulatory criteria — awards, memberships, published material, judging, original contributions, scholarly articles, critical roles, and high remuneration. Lexfill collects the underlying documents and organizes them against each criterion so you can see coverage at a glance.

Which forms does Lexfill prepare for an O-1 case?

Lexfill auto-fills Form I-129 and the O and O-1 classification supplement from the intake, and tracks the advisory opinion (consultation) and the itinerary of events and validity dates. The attorney reviews, edits, and approves everything before it's filed.

How long does the intake take for the beneficiary?

Most beneficiaries complete the guided intake in one or two sittings and can pause anytime. Because the conversation is tailored to O-1 criteria, they spend their time on what matters to the petition rather than deciphering a blank questionnaire.

Does the beneficiary need to speak English?

No. The intake runs in English, Spanish, Turkish, Arabic, or Chinese, with full right-to-left support. Whatever language the beneficiary answers in, every answer arrives in your console in English.

Can we switch to Lexfill from Clio or another practice management tool?

Yes. Lexfill integrates with Clio directly: connect your account, import your contacts and matters in a click, and push completed work back to Clio when you're done. On a different vendor? We'll do your migration for free — our team moves your clients and matters into Lexfill for you, usually within a few days.
