Send a retainer, get it signed and paid from one link — and the lead becomes your client.

Draft the retainer with Lex on the lead's page and send one link. The lead reads, e-signs and pays the first installment in one sitting, with no account — and that payment creates the client, the case and a paid first invoice.

Signing up a new client used to take a second system: the retainer went out from one tool, the invoice from another, and the client logged in twice. Now it happens on the lead's page. Open the Retainer card, let Lex draft the agreement from the lead, the case type and your fee — or write it yourself — set the fee and an optional payment plan, and send. The lead gets one link: the agreement on your letterhead, an e-signature with the consent that makes it hold up, and checkout for the first payment. When that payment lands, Lexfill creates the client and the case, invites them to the portal, records the first invoice as paid, and files the sealed, signed agreement in their documents.

  • No account, no second login — the lead reads, signs and pays from one email link, in their own language
  • Every signature is sealed: who signed, when, from where, and a fingerprint of the exact document they saw — on a certificate page inside the signed PDF, with the full audit trail on the lead's page
  • Payment plans count from the day the lead pays, so no installment is ever born overdue — and the rest of the schedule is ordinary invoice installments you already know

See who spoke to each lead — and whose calls turn into consults.

Log every call, email or text to a lead in one tap, and Reports now breaks the funnel down by team member — leads worked, attempts made, how many reached a consult and hired — so you can see which approach converts, not just the firm-wide rate.

Case Management·Sep 8, 2026·2 min read

Every case now has owners — and only they hear about it.

Assign one or more attorneys to a case and see who owns what at a glance — in the Cases list, on the case itself, and in a My cases widget on your home page. Case updates, notes and completed tasks go to the owners, not the whole firm.
